RANGELL SOCIAL MEDICINE GRAND ROUNDS OCTOBER 12

Regina Pally, MD, will present "Using Psychoanalysis in Psychiatric Practice:  Why?  and How?" at Grand Rounds at 12:30 pm, October 12, in CHS 28-221.  Dr. Pally is a UCLA trained psychiatrist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst, writer and teacher, with a background in neuroscience and child development.  Her current interest is to synthesize the importance of Relationships, Reflective Capacity and Psychoanalytic ideas for mental health professionals.  She is the Founder and Co-Director of the Center for Reflective Communities, a non-profit organization dedicated to “strengthening the relationship bonds that children have with their parents and all the others involved in their care”. Her most recently published book is The Reflective Parent: How to do less and relate more with your kids (Norton 2017).
